Shelf Bra Shopping
This Shelf Bra was on a manikin in a department store window. It was a silky plunge bra with imported lycra lace. The manikin made it look like a million bucks. I however, thought that it would look like the blue light special. To my surprise there was one designed for my less than perfect body.
The colors choices were all my favorites and the customer service was top notch. What I really liked was the smooth parts of the bra are a little shiny like satin, but sturdier. The shelf bras were monotone with the matching lace and no contrast embroidery or stitching, the lace is really good quality but the color is so rich that it inspires me to want a gorgeous , slinky satin dress now. The panel of classic lace is really generous in my size and looks prettier than on the maniken.
I’m not one to care about whether lace shows through a t-shirt a little, but the placement of the lace is such that it does not show at all; only the main seam shows a bit. The bra is true to size and appears to be well constructed. I did not find any itchy spots. I like the lace that covers the straps and think they are worthy of showing off next to spaghetti straps in a coordinating top.
Extremely well fitting, and comfortable for short waisted individuals. Feminine in appearance, and good support. This is a nice bra. I am a waitress so I need all the support and help with my posture. It offers a lot of support. But, it’s pretty and holds up well. I wear it all day without any discomfort. I prefer a good sturdy athletic bra but like for it to be feminem. The Plus size options were plentiful no pun intended.
I also picked up a shear push up bra and just love how it added sex appeal and even made me look like I lost weight. I think because it takes inches from the waist and draws up into the cleavage. I took the demand of a good bra one step further and tested it with a night of dancing. My friends said that it kept everything in the right place.
I mention this because I have actually gone dancing and experienced the ill fate of coming out of my bra. If it wasn’t the constant fight with my straps falling down my shoulders, the other conflict was keeping the sisters inside my bra, (got tired of hearing who let the dogs out)or the wires cutting into me. Not this one. This bra is my best buddy for the wild nights out on the town with my friends. It allows me to really enjoy my self and look great doing it!
