Why companies charge for cell number lookups
Is it really possible to do a free cell phone trace on the world wide web? So many of us have been disappointed or frustrated in the past with sites that appear to provide free products online, but in truth are not. Is this the case for the cell phone search?
To begin we will define what we mean by a phone number search. When you have a home phone number but no idea who the number belongs to. You may use a reverse lookup site like Google to see the details. Of course in situations when you lost contact with someone but still have a record of their number, or just to see who owns the number. There are many places where you can make these business and residential phone inquiries on line searches at no cost, including fax numbers.
Often times though, a problem arises when you need to run a reverse lookup on a cell phone as the free databases will not include such numbers. So, if you’re trying to find an Alberta cell number you may have a problem. These databases do not contain cell phone numbers as this information is only in the hands of carriers and telecommunications companies. Do these records exist & are they available free?
The good news is that there are sites that do offer a large number of cell numbers, but they are not free. These programs of course need to pay a fee to access some of this information, and go to the trouble and cost of retrieving all data into a single place and therefore, you need to pay a small fee for access to their database. Often times though, the rate is generally a single purchase and you can run as many searches as you want. These records typically include cell owner details, address history, carrier information, and the phone and connection status. We should mention that the databases offered by individual companies differ to some extent, but most include cell phones, residential, business, fax, toll-free and pagers. With these programs your queries are guaranteed legal & confidential.
We’ve seen sites that claim to provide free cell research, but that has always led to sites charging a fee in the end. Some do allow people to search for free and then see the results. The sad truth is that the only place where you can find detailed reverse cell records is within the legitimate paid directories. In conclusion, cell phone searches are not free. That being said, if you really want access to these records, we believe that it’s worth the cost.
